Its a very soft cake with a sweet apple plums filling . I dont use generally plums when it is sour. So bought it a bit early from the store & let it completely ripe in 2 days. Apple also was selected from the sort called ' Gala' which is much sweeter .

Butter- 120gm
Sugar - 120 gm
Lemon sugar- 1 packet
Eggs - 3
All purpose flour - 250 gm
Backing powder - 3 levelled tsp
Milk - 3tbsp
Apple - 1
Plums - 200 gm
For Decoration:
White sugar glaze - 1 packet
pista , cherry , silvered almonds
Preparation method :
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Beat well butter, sugar & Lemon sugar until sugar is almost melt.
Add egg one by one & beat well each time.
Add milk, mix. Mix flour & backing powder seperately & add to the mix using sieve.
Grease a Gugelhupf form.Spread grieß(semolina) in it.
Peel the apple , remove the seeds & cut into small pieces. Cut the plums also into pieces removing its seed.
Pour 3/4 th of the batter into the form . Place apple & plums over it. Pour the rest 1/4 batter over it.
Bake for 45 min. or until its done.
After done set aside sometime for cooling . Slowly remove the cake from the form.
Melt the white sugar glaze & pour over it. Decorate with some pistatios or some chopped hazel nuts. Its upto your taste. Happy baking !
