Summer love - Smoothies!!!!!






APPLE - BANANA - STRAWBERRY Smoothie




We had an exceptionally hot summer vacation this time with temperature hitting almost 45 degrees. 

Its very important to stay hydrated. Time to make smoothies.

Berries, Apple, Banana, Kiwi, Papaya, Lemon, Watermelon.....endless possibilities to combine them.



Some smothies recipes loved by us are the following, 


Combination 1: 1 Apple, 1 Banana, handfull of strawberries, crushed ice and sugar 


Combination 2: 1 Mango,  1 Banana,  crushed ice and sugar


Combination 3: 1 cup Kiwi, 1 Banana, crushed ice and sugar


Combination 4:  Watermelon with crushed ice


Combination 5:  1 cup Strawberries , 1 banana , milk , crushed ice and sugar

Strawberry Milk Shake

Strawberry Milk Shake
STRAWBERRY MILK SHAKE

Things needed :
Strawberry - 400 gm
Milk - 275 ml
Whipping cream - 100 ml
Sugar -4 tbsp

yield :- 2 cups

Preparation method :
Make a puree of strawberry adding sugar in a blender .
Add milk and whipping cream to it and again blend well.
Will taste divine .You can even decorate with strawberry slices.

Mango smoothie


Things needed :
Mangoes - 2
Sugar - 3 tbsp
Water - 1 cup approx.
Lime juice (Limetten saft) - 2 tbsp (EL)


Blend smoothly all the ingredients in a blender. For better results grind ingredients adding small quantity of water . After its is smooth add enough water .

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Things Needed :
strawberry - 800 gm
Banana - 2
Sugar - 4 tbsp
Whipping cream - 50 ml (optional , but great if you add it)
Water - 1/4 cup

Preparation Method:
Cut the strawberries and bananas into chunks and blend well adding sugar, whipping cream and a small quantity of water.
Once it has blend smooth you can add water if required to make your consistency.( I made it really thick , was tasty yummm !!! )

Mango Lassi

Mango lassiMANGO LASSI

Things needed :
Yogurt - 1 cup
well ripe Mangoes - 4 (around 1+1/2 cup pieces )
Sugar - 4 tbsp

Preparation method :

We actually need 1 cup thin yogurt for this recipe .If it is thick yogurt add 1/2 cup and 1/2 cup water.
Peel the mangoes , cut into pieces and blend well . Add sugar and yogurt into this , again blend well.
Serve this Mango lassi with ice cubes .

PINEAPPLE - LEMON SMOOTHIE

Pineapple - lemon is a good combination to have . We tried it on a tiring weekday eve to refresh.


Things needed :

2 cup pine apple cut into chunks for grinding
lemon juice 3 sp
2 sp sugar

Preparation method :

Blend well adding small quantity of water to it.
Top with small bits of pineapple .

Banana - Milk shake


Banana - Milk  shake

BANANA-MILK SHAKE


This is a healthy n tasty drink liked very much in my home. Try it and you will know why.

Things needed :

2 bananas
1 1/2 milk
3 sp sugar
1 pinch cardamom


Preparation method :

Blend well Bananas , milk & sugar in blender .
Tip: Use chilled milk .
Add a pinch of Cardamom on top before serving.
