BANANA CREAM TORTE -- BANANEN SAHNE TORTE
This recipe makes a very soft textured and absolutely delicious torte .I had left over sour sherry juice in refrigerator, which I didn't know what to do. Then I found this Torte recipe from my cookbook ,I thought of giving it a try since it was a weekend , and it turned out to be a totally scrumptious one .Total praises from husband & brother . I will make it again for the forthcoming party I think.
Things needed :
Eggs - 2
Sugar - 125 gm
Oil - 100 ml
Sherry juice - 100 ml
All purpose Flour - 150 gm
Cacao powder - 5 sp
Backing powder - 1/2 of a packet
Cream - 500 gm ( 2 packets)
Bananas - 2 big ones
Vanilla sugar -1 packet
Whipping cream stiffener - 1 packet
For decoration :
Grated Chocolate - 3 sp ( depends)
Lemon juice - 3 sp
Others:
Spring form 30 cm
Spatula , a toothpick
Preparation method :
Preheat oven to 120 degrees temperature.
Beat well eggs and sugar first.
Add oil, sherry juice with it and beat well .
Mix flour , backing powder and 2 sp cacao powder separately. Using a sieve add this to the beaten ingredients. Pour the mixture into a greased spring form and back for 25 min .
Set it aside and let it cool. Take the cake out of the spring form .
Next step is to prepare the cream layers.
Whip well the cream , both packs . Set aside half of it. Add 3 sp cacao powder to one half .
Cut 1 & 1/2 bananas into rounds . Spread the banana pieces on top of the cake base. All portion of the top should be covered with the bananas.
Using a spatula spread the chocolate cream uniformly on top of the bananas.
Next with the rest half portion of the whipped cream, add the vanilla sugar ,Whipping cream stiffener and beat well.
Fill it in a pastry bag. Decorate it like you want. or you can simply spread it on top .But I like the idea of decorating . Cut also the 1/2 of the banana into rounds ,dip in lemon juice and use for decoration .

ReplyDeletethanks a lot for your honest comment ! I will try to fix this security issue as soon as possible ...i made this prevention a long time before in the site's template , now I have no idea how to fix it.may be it will take some time ....then its possible to save my recipe as html in your computer , problem is that you have to have your pc turned on while cooking :) ..thants how i does it... then I am truly unwilling to believe if someone is using my content to make more profit than me ...that will be very annoying isnt it
