Rava Kanji

Rava Kanji recipe


This porridge is preferred between sicks & old people because of its refreshing ability. And it is easy to digest. I have seen my grandma having rava kanji when i was child .
Anyway I got sick today , my ENT system is completely upside down and I wanted to have something hot and easy. So here comes the rava kanji recipe. It's really easy to make.

Things needed :

Unroasted rava ( Sooji ) - 1 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Sugar ( can be replaced with little bit of salt for sugar patients)
Cardamom - 2 crushed for flavouring

Preparation method :

Cook rava in a pot adding enough water to cover it. Let it boil and cook until smooth.
Add milk and make it favourable consistency.
Sprinkle cardamom and sugar.
Serve hot .
